Istanbul Police Warn Of Possible Bomb Threat On Subway
KABUL: (MEP) Turkish police on Wednesday have warned of possible bomb attacks at subway stations and metro bus stops in Istanbul.
Security measures have been stepped up in public places as police believe terrorists could use explosive-laden cars or suicide bombers to carry out attacks in the city, RIA Novosti said, citing a Milliyet newspaper report.
The development comes several weeks after an explosion on a square in Istanbul’s historical center that killed and injured many people.
