NDS Arrest Two Kidnappers In Laghman
MEP: As a result of the national security forces operation in Laghman province, two kidnappers were arrested.
Abdul Haq and Gul-Sahat have been detained on charges of kidnapping a student from Roshan university in eastern Nangarhar province, a statement by National Directorate of Security (NDS) said on Sunday.
According to the statement, during the operation, Abdul Ali, son of Muhammad Nabi, who was abducted from the Kabul – Nangarhar highway, has also been freed.
The detainees confessed that they kept the kidnapped person in Toor-Ghar mountains of Laghman province.
The kidnappers had reportedly asked for 600 thousand Afghanis in ransom of the hostage’s family for his release.
The report comes as yesterday a suicide bomber was also arrested in Paktika province.
